Crystal is about 15 minutes north of our St. Louis Park shop. Here is what Crystal garage doors usually need:
- Postwar ramblers, many detached garages. Crystal was mostly built in the 1950s and 60s. We see a mix of attached and detached garages, older 8- and 9-foot doors, extension springs and openers without safety sensors.
- Doors dragging on new slabs or heaved concrete. Frost heave is common on older detached-garage slabs. When the floor rises, the door binds or will not close; we adjust the travel, replace the bottom seal and fix the track alignment.
