About David's Urgent Garage Door

David's Urgent Garage Door is a family-owned garage door company serving Minneapolis, St. Paul, Edina, St. Louis Park, Minnetonka, Wayzata, and the Twin Cities metro.

David Tuito built this company around one simple standard: honest recommendations, clean workmanship, and garage door work done right the first time.

We handle emergency repairs, broken springs, openers, cables, off-track doors, new garage door installations, and premium door upgrades. Every photo on this website is from real work completed by David and his team — no fake stock photos, no AI images, and no pretend showroom pictures.

For homeowners who want something better than basic builder-grade doors, we also help with premium insulated doors, wood-look doors, carriage-house designs, modern full-view glass doors, and custom garage door projects.

Whether your door is broken today or you are planning a higher-end upgrade for your home, David will explain your options clearly and help you choose the right solution for your house, budget, and long-term value.

Our story

David Tuito started David's Urgent Garage Door in 2019 from his home base in St. Louis Park, after years of managing people and operations and realizing that what homeowners in the Twin Cities were missing was simple: a technician who picks up the phone at 2 AM, shows up within the hour, quotes the exact price on the door, and does the work himself. Seven winters later the model has not changed. David still answers every call, still drives to every job, and still replaces the rusted cables and bottom brackets that Minnesota road salt eats through every year - because that is what keeps a door from failing again in January. The company is family-owned and home-based on purpose: no showroom, no sales team, no subcontractors, just the owner and the truck.
