Hinges, Bottom Brackets and Rusted Vertical Track

Not every off-track call starts with a dent. On Twin Cities doors the quiet cause is rust: road salt drips off the car and sits on the bottom brackets, the lower rollers and the bottom couple of feet of the vertical track. The bracket that anchors the lift cable rusts thin, the roller stem seizes, and one day the door twists on the way up and a roller pops out.
